Cranking it Up
On Saturday afternoon we headed for the Rebel playground.... yes the Slipper!
Maitlands, a nominal distance of 10km as the crow flies had absolutely.....NO WIND!
We had a ball!!!

The Toko doing it's thing! What a pleasure to fly!
And we think planes are fast.... This Bogey would not leave us alone.

And we have to carry all these planes to the ridge... Keeps us fit!
The view makes it all worth it!
Daron's Jart. Still a wonderful plane to fly and the landings keep you on your toes!!

The Mig 7 Story "Hermanus"
We all rushed our Correx MiG seven builds!!! We had Team MiG jackets made! We even competed on selected colour schemes..... and it never happened!
The 700km odd trip to Hermanus ended up with the weather letting us down badly!!
This video happened later and at best only got 5 up at the same time...

Morne's MiG surprised us all when it made an appearance... Perhaps the "Stang" never recovered after colliding with the Red Bull MiG?????

Behind the scenes
The Jart story is not over yet!
Until we have mastered the art off bagging the wings and completing the" glass ship"process, we would not have for filled the goal!
The Mylars have been sprayed and cut
The glass cloth layers cut and ready for wetting out.
The Wetting out of the glass cloth. We ran into some problems as the epoxy was flashing off due to the high temperature!
In the vacuum bag and weighted down......
Time will tell if this was only another experiment!!
